Education...

PSONS provides numerous educational opportunities throughout the year.  These include monthly or bimonthly meetings on general topics organized by the Education Committee.   Introductory courses in oncology nursing include the Fundamentals in Oncology course presented by the Oncology Nursing Education Consortium (ONEC) and ONS's Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course.  The education committee would like to support those preparing for certification for their OCN and AOCN.  No review courses will be offered this year, but you may contact the  Education committee for further information or to coordinate development of a study group.  Annual scholarships are made for PSONS members to attend ONS Congress and, beginning this year, Fall Institutes.  Applications can be obtained from Janet Bagley
